i wanna go ahead and get day one and two of the convention out. so that day three and four will be more organized, since the candidates are actually speaking those days. DAY ONE: FOR THE BASE Okay, so i actually watched CSPAN all day. so i saw all the speakers...but what wowed me the most was the feeling of family, of intensity, of..."we're gonna fuckin win" of the democrats. I love it. As for speakers, i'll just touch the key notes. AL GORE he suprised me. he really did. he always seems so stiff and annoying, really. but he was lively and FUNNY! so funny. "You know, you win some, you lose some...then there is that third category..." it was for the base, while still apealing to Independant voters. It was a great speech, and i loved it. JIMMY CARTER Though i really don't like him myself...i loved the speech he gave. Much like al gore, really. I thought it was great, because President Carter has always been known as a man who SPEAKS THE TRUTH! so for HE to be the one, and the ONLY one, who is calling out the Bush Admin. for Iraq, is a great move by the Dems. HILLARY CLINTON it was classic hilary. i'm glad she got her say. it made the base hysterical. just the same as... BILL CLINTON JESUS THAT WAS AWESOME! that's about all you gotta say for that. it was for me, the base, yes yes. we were happy. great speech, as always. i loved the "SEND JOHN KERRY TO THE WHITE HOUSE!" thing. instead of saying "vote for kerry!" it's saying "SEND kerry!". big play on words, and it'll help them. okay. that's day one.
